Eliminates exclusion for dealers whose principal business is off-road construction equipment from the definition of an agricultural equipment dealer.
The bill amends the definition of an agricultural equipment dealer to remove the exclusion for dealers whose principal business is the sale of off-road construction equipment. Previously, such dealers were not considered agricultural equipment dealers if their sales of off-road construction equipment exceeded 30% of their gross agricultural equipment sales. Now, any dealer whose sales of the manufacturer's equipment equal or exceed 30% of their gross agricultural equipment sales will be considered an agricultural equipment dealer, regardless of their principal business.
