South Dakota HB1123 establishes a pilot program to provide benefits for menstrual hygiene products and diapers for individuals who receive temporary assistance for needy families. The Department of Social Services will distribute $14 monthly for menstrual hygiene products for participants aged 18 to 50 and $30 monthly for each dependent under age three. The benefits will be issued through participants' existing electronic benefits card.
