If a court dismisses a petition filed under § 25-10-3, either initially or after a hearing, the court may grant the expungement of all records related to the court file, including those on file with the Department of Social Services. This applies to cases dismissed under § 22-19A-8, either initially or after a hearing under § 22-19A-10.
