Revises the use of the livestock disease emergency fund and the livestock auction market inspectors fund.
This bill amends the allocation of fees collected by the Animal Industry Board. Ten percent of the fees will be credited to the livestock disease emergency fund, which can be used for veterinary slots or grants in out-of-state schools. The remaining ninety percent will be credited to the livestock auction market inspectors fund, used for monthly compensation to livestock auction market inspectors. Expenditures from both funds must be appropriated in the general appropriation bill.
