Exempts certain individuals from jury duty and requires specific notice for jurors.

South Dakota HB1081 exempts specific individuals from jury duty under certain conditions. Public safety workers can be exempt if no equally qualified individual is available and their absence poses a risk to public health and safety. Individuals solely responsible for the care of a household member with a permanent disability can also be exempt if jury service would risk the disabled person's health.
