South Dakota HB1072 allocates funds to the Bureau of Finance and Management for monthly payments to state employees. Starting July 1, 2026, each state employee employed as of January 1, 2026, will receive one twelfth of one and a half percent of their annualized January 1, 2026 salary at the beginning of each month. Payments will not be made to employees who are no longer employed by the state.
