Extends the period for selling fireworks to residents in South Dakota.

South Dakota HB1070 amends the fireworks sales period, allowing retailers to sell fireworks to residents from May 1 to June 26 and from July 6 to August 31. Retailers must obtain early and late season licenses, each with a $1,000 fee. Additionally, retailers can sell fireworks to residents from December 28 to January 1. The bill also mandates that retailers provide customers with laws prohibiting fireworks use and a map of the Black Hills Forest Fire Protection District if located west of the Missouri River, except during the period of June 27 to July 5.
