The code consists of all the statutes of a general and permanent nature contained in specific volumes and revisions. The enactment of the code does not affect the validity of any actions or proceedings commenced prior to July 1, 2026, and does not impair the curative or legalizing effect of any statute. Any statute that repeals, amends, contravenes, or is inconsistent with the provisions of the code will prevail.
