Resolution to honor Alfreda Walters Tindal for over four decades of public service in Richland County.

This resolution honors Alfreda Walters Tindal for her more than four decades of public service in Richland County. Tindal played a critical role in ensuring roads were properly named, addresses were accurately assigned, and emergency responders could reach residents quickly. She was instrumental in the implementation of Richland County's Enhanced 9-1-1 system and named more than 10,000 roads. Tindal also broke barriers as the first Black female supervisor in the Public Works Department and later the first Black female chairperson of the Richland County Grievance Board.
