South Carolina S1005 amends judicial salaries for court of appeals, circuit court, and family court judges.

South Carolina S1005 amends the salary schedule for judges in the state's court of appeals, circuit court, and family court. The chief judge of the court of appeals will receive a salary equal to ninety-nine percent of the salary of Associate Justices of the Supreme Court. Judges of the court of appeals will receive ninety-seven and one-half percent, circuit court judges ninety-five percent, and family court judges ninety-two and one-half percent of the salary of Associate Justices of the Supreme Court. The act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
