South Carolina S0769 provides continuing authority to pay state government expenses if the 2026-2027 fiscal year begins without a general.

South Carolina S0769, if the 2026-2027 fiscal year starts without a general appropriations act, allows the state to continue paying recurring expenses at the level of amounts appropriated in Act 69 of 2025. Nonrecurring appropriations and study committees from Act 69 of 2025 are not subject to funding under this act. The effective dates of Parts IA and IB of Act 69 of 2025 are extended until the effective date for appropriations in the general appropriations act for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
