Requires South Carolina students in kindergarten through eighth grade to receive a minimum of sixty minutes of outdoor physical activity daily.

The bill amends South Carolina's physical education standards to mandate that students in kindergarten through eighth grade must receive a minimum of sixty minutes of outdoor physical activity daily, weather permitting. This requirement begins with the 2026-2027 school year. The physical activity must be planned and coordinated by the Physical Education Activity Director. The bill also specifies that the student to teacher ratio in physical education classes must not exceed 28 to 1.
