Amends South Carolina judicial circuit structure to increase number of judges in the Sixth Judicial Circuit.

The bill amends the South Carolina Code to adjust the number of judges elected from each judicial circuit. Specifically, it increases the number of judges elected from the Sixth Judicial Circuit from one to two. The Sixth Judicial Circuit includes the counties of Chester, Lancaster, and Fairfield. The changes take effect on July 1, 2027.
