Allows individuals 70 years or older to obtain sealed adoption records.

This bill amends South Carolina law to allow individuals who are 70 years of age or older, born in the state, and had their original birth certificate sealed due to adoption to obtain a copy of their original birth certificate and any adoption evidence. The request must be made in writing to the State Registrar. This change applies regardless of when the adoption was finalized.
