South Carolina S0356 amends Section 59-101-620 of the S.C. Code to allow public institutions of higher learning to offer educational fee waivers to no more than eight percent of the undergraduate student body. Initially, institutions can offer up to four percent of waivers, with an additional four percent permitted exclusively for in-state undergraduate students. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
