This bill amends the South Carolina Code to include the Attorney General, or his designee, on the Commission on Prosecution Coordination. It also allows the Attorney General or his designee to witness executions. The bill specifies that "immediate family" means those persons eighteen years of age or older who are related to the inmate by blood, adoption, or marriage within the second degree of consanguinity. The changes take effect upon approval by the Governor.
