The South Carolina Senate honors Pastor Herry Mansel Jr. for his installation. Pastor Mansel served eight years, was ordained by the Little Ricer Baptist Association, and pastored the Second Damascus Baptist Church. He also served as executive director of the Greenwood Chapter of the American Red Cross and completed two tours in Libya and Beirut Lebanon. Pastor Mansel accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in 1981 and began his first pastorate in 1988. He is married to Sandra E. Mansel and has three daughters and one son.
