Amends South Carolina law to extend the validity of emergency admission certificates for mentally ill patients in certain conditions and to provide.

This bill amends South Carolina law to extend the validity of emergency admission certificates for mentally ill patients if safe transport is unavailable due to a natural disaster or other life-threatening condition. It also provides immunity from civil liability to law enforcement officers, emergency medical technicians, and others who transport patients in accordance with the law.
