This resolution extends the 2025 session of the South Carolina General Assembly to permit continued consideration of specified matters, including the General Appropriations Bill and gubernatorial vetoes. The session is set to adjourn on Thursday, May 8, 2025, but can continue under certain conditions until Monday, January 12, 2026. The President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives may convene a joint assembly to conduct elections or vacancies in any office filled by election of the General Assembly.
