South Carolina S0291 extends appropriations and dissolves study committees if no 2025-2026 fiscal year appropriations act is enacted.

South Carolina S0291 provides continuing authority to pay state government expenses if the 2025-2026 fiscal year begins without a general appropriations act. Appropriations made under this resolution are deemed to have been made under the fiscal year 2025-2026 appropriations act. The resolution also extends the effective dates of Parts IA and IB of Act 226 of 2024 until the effective date of the fiscal year 2025-2026 appropriations act. Study committees formed under Act 226 of 2024 are dissolved unless authorized by another act. The resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
