Allows South Carolina school districts to waive make-up days for up to seven days missed due to Hurricane Helene.

This bill permits local school district boards of trustees to waive the requirement for public schools to make up full days missed due to inclement weather for up to an additional seven days if the missed days were due to Hurricane Helene. If a district waives a make-up day, the waiver also applies to charter schools and home schooling programs within the district. The joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
