Extension of time for voting

Extends voting time if polling place experiences delays or interruptions over 15 minutes.

This bill amends the South Carolina Code of Laws to allow for an extension of voting time if a polling place experiences a delay or interruption of more than 15 minutes. The extension would be equal to the duration of the delay or interruption. This change applies to both early voting and election day voting. The act would take effect upon approval by the Governor.
