Residents must be assured privacy for conjugal visits and can share a room with a spouse unless medically contraindicated. Residents can contract with non-facility sitters unless prohibited by law. Residents or their representatives can manage personal finances unless the facility has been delegated this responsibility. Residents can designate a person to visit during emergencies. Residents must be informed of rights, grievance procedures, and charges before admission.
