Establishes criteria for South Carolina to recover funds from Scout Motors if it violates state laws.
This bill sets conditions for Scout Motors to repay funds if it breaches state laws. If Scout Motors violates Section 56-15-45(D) or other state laws, it must repay a $200,000 loan with interest and any expenditures from the $1,091,082,986 appropriated to the Department of Commerce. The Department of Commerce must end ongoing projects and halt new ones if Scout Motors violates the law. Unspent funds will return to the General Fund.
