Increases the waiting period for retired officers to return to service and removes earnings limitation.

The bill amends the South Carolina Police Officers Retirement System to increase the waiting period from thirty to ninety days before a retired member can return to employment. It also removes the earnings limitation, allowing retired officers to earn up to $10,000 without affecting their retirement allowance. If earnings exceed $10,000, the retirement allowance is discontinued for the remainder of the year.
