Amends nursing home staffing ratios for memory care and assisted living facilities in South Carolina.

The bill amends South Carolina's nursing home regulations to allow for separate staffing ratios for memory care and assisted living facilities. It specifies that staffing ratios for shift one apply to the twelve-hour day shift, and ratios for shift three apply to the twelve-hour night shift. The bill also mandates that nursing homes provide a minimum of 9 to 1, 13 to 1, and 22 to 1 resident-staff ratios for shifts one, two, and three, respectively. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
