This bill amends South Carolina law to ensure homeowners and tenants can display political signs on their property, regardless of any restrictive covenants, declarations, or rules. The allowable size for these signs is at least 24 inches by 18 inches. Homeowners associations can set rules for the size, number, locations, and timing of these signs, but must allow at least two signs per candidate, party, or public question. The signs must be removed if they are placed outside the period beginning 30 days before and ending five days after the election.
