The South Carolina S0030 — Mandatory Suicide Training- Jason Flatt Act Update amends Section 59-26-110 of the South Carolina Code to require two hours of training in youth suicide awareness and prevention for individuals employed in kindergarten through twelfth grade schools or institutions of higher education. This training is mandatory for the renewal of credentials starting with the 2025-2026 school year.
