South Carolina S0012 amends the state code to authorize the Public Service Authority to jointly own, as tenants-in-common or through a limited liability company, electrical generation and transmission facilities with investor-owned electric utilities. The Public Service Authority will be liable in proportion to its ownership share for any acts, omissions, or obligations related to these facilities. This bill takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
