Eligible state employees who give birth are entitled to twelve weeks of paid parental leave, while other eligible state employees are entitled to four weeks. Paid parental leave may be taken concurrently, consecutively, or at different times if both parents are eligible state employees. Legal holidays do not count against paid parental leave.
