The South Carolina House of Representatives passed a resolution to recognize and honor the Hammond School varsity competitive cheerleading team, coaches, and school officials for their outstanding season and winning the 2025 South Carolina Independent School Association Class 4A State Championship title for the third consecutive year. The team, consisting of twenty girls from seventh grade through twelfth grade, had an undefeated season and scored forty or more points at every competition.
