This bill amends the South Carolina Code to establish the Pee Dee Regional Airport Authority, consisting of nine members. Two members are from Florence City, three from Florence County, and two each from Marion and Dillon counties. Members are appointed by the Governor based on recommendations from their respective county legislative delegations. Terms are four years, with initial two-year terms for one member from each of the three counties. Members are compensated at a per diem rate of fifty dollars per meeting, not exceeding twelve meetings per year. The authority elects its own officers.
