The South Carolina House of Representatives honors Patricia C. Grant for her years of service to the Walterboro community. Grant, a 1966 graduate of Colleton High School and South Carolina State University, began her career with the Colleton County Clerk of Court's Office in 1974. She was elected clerk of court in 2000 and served five terms until her retirement in 2021. She was awarded the Order of the Palmetto in 2021 and was reappointed as clerk of court in 2024.
