South Carolina H5318 amends the state code to allow the Department of Revenue to issue special permits to establishments that sell beer or wine for on-premises consumption. These permits authorize the purchase and sale of beer and wine for events held outside normal business hours on the establishment's grounds. The department can set terms and conditions for these permits and charge a fee of ten dollars per day. Establishments can receive up to two special permits per month. This act takes effect upon approval.
