Excludes payments for Emergency Services IP Network from gross proceeds of sales in South Carolina.
This bill amends the South Carolina Code of Laws to modify the definition of gross proceeds of sales. Specifically, it excludes amounts paid by state and local governments for contracts related to the Emergency Services IP Network, also known as ESInet, which supports Next Generation 911 in South Carolina. This change takes effect July 1, 2026.
