South Carolina H5067 requires the Department of Environmental Services to conduct quarterly testing for urinary metabolites in wastewater treatment facilities. The testing, performed by an accredited or certified environmental testing laboratory, focuses on antimetabolites, prostaglandins and prostaglandin analogs, and antiprogestins. The department must test facilities within ten miles of municipalities with populations of 250,000 or more, and at least ten facilities within ten miles of municipalities with populations of 100,000 or more, 25,000 or more, and less than 25,000.
