Exempts additional income earned by campus police officers from dual employment limitations.
This bill amends the South Carolina Code to exempt any additional compensation received by a campus police officer who also works special events from any law or regulation that limits the maximum compensation for dual employment. Special events include guest speaker events, athletic events, parades, and any events at a college or university location. This exemption applies during the same fiscal year. The act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
