Allows micro-distilleries in South Carolina to offer tastings and retail sales of their products on-site.
The bill amends South Carolina law to allow micro-distilleries with a valid license to offer tastings and retail sales of their alcoholic liquors on their premises. Tastings can occur between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sundays. The distillery may charge for tours but not for the alcoholic liquors or nonalcoholic mixers provided during tastings. Consumers can attend only one tasting per day and must be at least 21 years old.
