Veterans and seniors in South Carolina can use state park facilities for free.
South Carolina H4811 amends the state code to allow South Carolina residents over 65, disabled individuals, and legally blind individuals to use state park facilities without charge. Veterans who are permanently and totally disabled can also use campsites, overnight lodging, and recreation buildings for free. These individuals must present appropriate identification to park officials. The act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
