South Carolina H4744 amends the South Carolina Code to authorize the Department of Employment and Workforce to send required communications electronically, in addition to physical mail. This change applies to reports, notices, demands, bills, and other items statutorily required to be mailed in Chapters 27 through 41. The bill defines "mailed" to include electronic transmission, such as email or digital messaging systems. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
