This bill amends the South Carolina Code to specify that an electrical license is required for the final connection to a branch circuit conductor in the installation, repair, or maintenance of signs, billboards, or billboard structures. It clarifies that the installation or modification of a branch circuit conductor is not considered part of the installation, repair, or maintenance of a sign, billboard, or billboard structure. The changes take effect upon approval by the Governor.
