South Carolina H4611 expands paid parental leave to include stillbirths for state employees.

South Carolina H4611 amends the state code to extend paid parental leave to state employees who experience a stillbirth. Eligible state employees who give birth or experience a stillbirth are entitled to six weeks of paid leave. Other eligible state employees are entitled to two weeks of paid leave. This act applies to employees defined by the Department of Education and those in full-time equivalent positions.
