Amends South Carolina law to shift responsibility for school tax millage from county councils to individual school districts.

This bill amends South Carolina law to change the responsibility for calculating, levying, and collecting school tax millage from county councils to individual school districts. It specifies that school districts must establish the school tax millage and handle the tax collection for properties within their boundaries. The county council will no longer include the established millage in property tax bills. The bill takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
