This bill amends South Carolina's charitable fundraising laws by exempting certain organizations from registration requirements with the Secretary of State. It increases the threshold for charities requesting registration to those soliciting more than $25,000 in a fiscal year. Additionally, it modifies the disclosure requirements for professional solicitors, requiring them to provide financial statements and other details upon request. The bill also limits registration requirements for commercial co-venturers soliciting more than $10,000 in a single campaign.
