This bill amends the definition of "anything of value" in South Carolina law to exclude printed informational or promotional material, items of nominal value, personalized plaques or trophies, educational material, honorary degrees, promotional or marketing items, and properly received campaign contributions. The changes apply to public officials, public members, and public employees. The bill takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
