Establishes the South Carolina Pray Safe Grant Program to fund security enhancements for religious organizations at risk of religiously motivated.

The South Carolina Pray Safe Act creates a grant program within the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) to provide funding for security enhancements to religious organizations at risk of religiously motivated crimes. Eligible applicants must be private organizations qualified for federal tax-exempt status and at particular risk of such crimes. Grants may not exceed $750,000 and can be used for security assessments, personnel, upgrades, and systems. SLED will establish criteria for ranking applications and awarding grants based on risk levels and existing security measures.
