Prohibits healthcare providers from designating miscarriages as abortions in patient medical records.

This bill amends the South Carolina Code of Laws to prohibit healthcare providers from coding or designating miscarriages as abortions in patient medical records. The change applies regardless of any other reporting requirements to the Department of Public Health. The amendment takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
