The South Carolina House of Representatives passed a resolution to celebrate the Powdersville High School varsity volleyball team for their 2024 Class AAA State Championship victory. The Lady Patriots dominated their competition, finishing the season with a 33-4 record. Junior libero Alyssa Whiteside made history with over 1,000 career digs, and sophomore Peyton Carman contributed six kills in the opening set. The team's success was attributed to the leadership of Head Coach Brooke Passini, Assistant Coach Samantha Bailey, and Assistant Coach Reagan Davis.
