Increases the age exemption from jury service in South Carolina from 65 to 70 years.

This bill amends the South Carolina Code to increase the age exemption from jury service from 65 to 70 years. Jurors over 70 years old will be exempt from jury service unless excused by the court. The jury commissioners cannot excuse or disqualify jurors under this exemption. The clerk of court must maintain a list of excused jurors and the reasons for their exemption. The act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
