The bill amends the South Carolina Code to limit the Greater Greenville Sanitation District's ability to contract for sanitation services outside its boundaries. Effective January 1, 2026, the district will only provide refuse, garbage, and trash collecting services to single-family residential customers within its geographic limits. Additionally, the district can no longer charge property tax millage on property within the district and must only charge a sanitation fee set by the county council.
